My dear friends, how are you? Ready for another link pack? Cus I sure am.
But first, a few days ago, I drove (read: sat passenger mostly) to the serviceless mountains of Boulder with my good friend and extraordinary editor, Sean (Kongery). Please wish him a happy birthday by subscribing to his value-but-also-insight-based investing newsletter, Fat Stack, which I feature below. I’m obviously biased, but he’s tryna make you money, so just go with it.
Ok, so much juicy content this week. Let’s do this.
As is tradition, check out the newest additions to TMTT Weekly Jams on Spotify. A few majestic tracks in there like..
Listen to this as you look out the window at all this damn snow. Then listen to it again.
Listen to this during those 60 seconds while naked in the bathroom waiting for the shower to heat up and dance a little, you freak
Listen to this while powering through your emails.
Listen to this while you think about the past, roaming around the city with him
And especially listen to this while going for a run to kick the depression
LEGO made a white noise playlist and get this, it’s all sounds made with legos. So bizarre but kinda soothing.
The other day I tried to start using my breaks more intentionally (aka watching informational Youtube videos) and ended up finding this fun dive into Ted Seuss Geisel’s (aka Dr. Seuss) artwork that he insisted on only being released post-mortem. His work has always reminded me of Salvador Dali and one of my favorite artists, Animal Sleep Stories.
Look at these rocks! Insane.
My old boss had a pretty surprising tweet about venture returns that spurred a lot of name brand investors to chime in about the long journey to returns. People think VCs are all rolling in cash with massive and obvious upside, but that’s almost never the case.
Has the thought, “Are we in a bubble?”, crossed your mind yet? Sean (the aforementioned birthday boy) says yes, we absolutely are. Packy says no, we’re most likely not. Fuck. Just keep buying bitcoin.
I really love Haley Nahman’s “Maybe Baby” newsletter, 99% of the things she publishes, I eat up. Last week was no exception.
This thought has crossed my mind a number of times recently, but why does time seem to speed up after midnight?
This is cool. Drive around a city virtually and listen to their local radio stations.
Another Packy write up, but this time it’s about Twitter. My first love.
The most wholesome. Gets better and better and better.
I’m gonna stop there because I have so many more tabs open of things I want to read and share with you but I’m falling asleep and I want to hit send already. Thank you for being here and for reading this as often as you do. Thanks for letting me scream from my little mountain top on the internet to yours because that, my friends, was far too much to text.
